VIRTUAL BRIDGE (Interconnect: ATBeX) Virtual Bridge Interconnect: ATBeX
This is an optional service of Virtual Bridge, connecting data centers between IDC Frontier and AT TOKYO in a redundant configuration.
It enables you to establish a flexible intfrastructure configuration, allowing you to connect to many different services via ATBeX including interconnections between racks in different data centers and connections to service providers in AT TOKYO data centers.
* A subscription to Virtual Bridge is required to use this service.
Service features
DCI (Data Center Interconnect) between different data center service providers
It enables to redundantly interconnect data centers operated by IDC Frontier and AT TOKYO.
You can select data centers to connect from those owned by the two providers to match your needs, such as data center expansion or securing its redundancy.
Reliable, safe and secure closed connection
Connecting services provided by IDC Frontier and AT TOKYO with a closed connection creates a highly private and secure environment across the providers.
Various services available for mutual use
In addition to interconnecting data centers, you can build a multi-infrastructure environment by combining various services and data centers including IDCF Cloud and IDCF Private Cloud. If you are already an AT TOKYO user, you can link its services to those of IDC Frontier quickly and easily.
Usage examples
Multi-layered redundancy secured by expandability of multiple data centers
Apply multiple layers of redundancy to improve infrastructure availability: secured connections by the closed network between the two providers' data centers; easy expandability of data center racks to meet system expansion needs; data center geo redundancy among Tokyo, Osaka, Kyushu, and Tohoku; and redundancy obtained by using IDC Frontier and AT TOKYO.
Multi-infrastructure realized by combination of IDCF services and Data Centers
If you have resources in AT TOKYO, you can link them with IDC Frontier Data Centers, or IDC Frontier's services such as High Power Housing Service, which can deal with super high heat-generating equipment, or IDCF Cloud or IDCF Private Cloud, domestically produced cloud services. With these services, you can adjust to changes in business or deal with peak demand by adding high-performance IT equipment or cloud resources to offload.
